Check the complete journey
Bangladesh appears in the visa-required list in EU Regulation 2018/1806. The Commission’s overview also distinguishes airport-transit requirements from permission to enter Schengen.
Do not assume that “I will not leave the airport” answers every transit question. Write down whether there is a second European airport, an overnight closure, baggage collection or a self-transfer. Ask the relevant authorities about the actual route, not an abstract layover.
Establish the UAE application context
Choose the destination’s UAE-resident checklist. An appointment process described for Dhaka is not automatically available to you in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Make sure your residence evidence is current and review any renewal issue before paying for travel. If you will return to Bangladesh rather than the UAE, describe that real itinerary; do not show a UAE return simply because a sample letter contains one.
Organise funding honestly
Separate salary, savings and any sponsor contribution. Do not relabel a short-term transfer as salary or hide normal remittances from an authentic bank statement. If a significant transaction needs explanation, gather evidence of its actual source.
Use the bank-statement guide for a preparation method. No single bank balance published by an agency can promise approval across all destinations and circumstances.
If your documents are incomplete
List exactly what is missing, who issues it and when it can be obtained. Ask the official centre how to handle an item that genuinely does not apply. Do not purchase fabricated bookings, financial records or employer letters.
For applicants travelling with an employer, the domestic-worker page covers the separate work-permission question.
After a decision
Read the visa’s dates and entry allowance, or the refusal notice and its remedy instructions. Do not assume a refusal is permanent or that another country will automatically approve an unchanged file. Start from the actual decision and your genuine travel plans.
