What VFS Switzerland does
VFS operates Switzerland visa application centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It provides appointment and submission services, collects biometrics and applicable charges, forwards the file and supports passport return. It does not decide whether a visa is granted, its duration or the number of entries.

- Attend the selected centre with the complete file.
The April 2026 checklist requires a UAE residence permit valid for three months beyond the intended date of departure from the Schengen area. Check your category’s current version again before submission.
Price, tracking and contact details
Separate the visa fee from the VFS service fee and optional products. Use VFS for the current AED amounts, address, opening hours and contact details because these can change.
After submission, use the reference and tracker connected to your centre. Status language such as “forwarded” or “under process” is logistical; it is not an approval signal.
